WELCOME TO MŌRUNGA
We are a Franciscan property of 5 acres with the goal of providing a destination for people to come and learn, or just enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility our space offers. Walk up the top and look over the valleys and ranges, or head through our hazelnut orchards and feel the stillness beneath the boughs. Head up to our Church and partake in Mass or simply sit under the beautiful San Damiano cross and look out at Mount Ruapehu. We love our space and look forward to sharing it with you.

The Oratory is at the core of who we are and what we do and includes the Church of St Francis & St Clare, Reformed Old Catholic Church. Presided over by the Very Reverend Allister Kelley OSFS MST, we are here to be a centre for the community within the Manawatu – something needed now more than ever after the events of 2020.
